Yesterday was a sweet extension of an answer to prayer. Noelia had prayed with me that she would find a friend, and a few weeks ago she did. She found a shy adorable little girl at a home school group and the two stuck together during their activities. But that's not the end of the story. We were happy that she could call someone a friend even though she only saw her once every two weeks, but today we found out that this same little girl lives only a couple of blocks down the street from them. Not only that, but she has a brother, nine years old, that is excited about having Nathanael for a friend. This will be Nathanael's only friend from a Christian home. I've been praying that the Lord would do something special to show our little grandchildren how much he cares for them personally, and He has answered my prayer today with those two special friends.
I am the widow of a minister of the gospel, Bruce Flett, a mother to 4 children, a grandmother to 5 grandchildren and G.G to one. They are my joy.
I have written four novels and one picture book, and have done some public speaking and some writer's workshops in Christian Schools. My husband and I have spent time helping with ACE Christian schools in Northern Canada, especially among the First Nations people.
In 2010 my husband became very sick, with cancer, endocarditis and dementia. Through the blessing of God and coconut oil his dementia went away and his cancer went into remission.
In January of 2014 after pushing himself way too hard, the cancer came back, and he died less than a month later.
While Bruce was alive and well, we started a coconut oil business which I still run.
I now keep Shabbat, and the Feasts and love living the way the Creator designed me to live.
