First we went to see a house a short distance away from our land. It had been lifted off its foundation and was waiting to be moved. It was in great condition and was the size and design we wanted. And best of all, we could buy it and have it moved onto our property for about a third of what it would cost to build it.
Next, we got a call from our real estate agent. The lady who had backed out of the offer on our home in town had resubmitted the offer. This time her agent went with her to the bank to make sure it would work before doing up the offer. We signed the offer. The closing date is June 29.
Both these things happened the same day.
If the first offer had gone through we may have felt compelled to settle on house plans, none of which we could afford. And now, even though humanly speaking we still can't afford anything, we know that God will provide the next step which is financing.
Keep tuned in to see how God provides.

Our son-in-law had salvaged an old Briggs and Straten rototiller, so he fixed it up and brought it to us. It works well enough to do the job that needed doing.
He also gave us a lawn mower tractor that he had salvaged.
And he fixed the van that the Lord gave us, so now we have something for taking produce and coconut oil to market.
I thank the Lord for His leading and for wonderful, helpful son-in-laws.

Our neighbor's mom was ending her visit to Canada yesterday and stopped in to say goodbye. The sheep eagerly rushed to greet her. They seemed to be drawn to her even though they had not seen her often --
Just like me. I had felt blessed by her friendship from the moment I met her. She told me of not knowing whether to buy the property we now owned, and then after having prayed that the Lord would send another buyer, her daughter had seen our sold sign. She had actually been involved, prayer wise, in our story before we ever met her.
The day after we got our electricity, she came with a microwave in a wagon. They had just bought a new one and knew we could use one in the trailer.
Yesterday, as she was saying goodbye, she mentioned that her daughter and son-in-law had a set of cupboards stored up in there barn that they wanted to get rid of. Would we be interested. She took us over for a look and we were in awe at how the Lord had, once again, blessed us through these neighbors.
The beautiful oak cupboards were just perfect for what we wanted in our new home.
Now we are just waiting for God to provide the home. But that will happen in its time.
